Psychotherapist
Philippa Carroll
Philippa is a qualified Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, with a Master's in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Philippa gained clinical experience across a range of diverse settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, probation services, addiction treatment services and private clinics before joining Centric Mental Health.
Philippa works with adults and adolescents over the age of 16 experiencing a variety of mental health difficulties. Philippa’s approach to psychotherapy is primarily psychoanalytic, however, she recognises that every client is unique and works to provide sessions which are tailored and based on the individual.
This approach aims to help clients understand and resolve their difficulties by increasing self-awareness and recognising their own influence over relationships and experiences both past and present. Through this understanding, the client can develop a stronger sense of well-being and a deeper sense of self.
She is available for online and in person consultations at Centric Mental Health.
