    Louise is a registered psychotherapist with the Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP), gaining her Masters in Psychotherapy in 2014. She has worked in several counselling centres before joining Centric Mental Health, Kilkenny.

    She has a collaborative and empathetic approach to helping clients develop a greater sense of self-awareness and create change and growth in their lives.

    Louise recognises that various aspects of life impact mental health and how anxiety or trauma can manifest in multiple ways within the mind and body. Louise uses a variety of techniques with clients to connect cognitive, emotional and body sensations to help them manage and alleviate their mental health issues.

    Eva-Maria has over 14 years of clinical experience working with addiction centres, the Educational sector, Family Resource centres and a charity organisation. 

    Eva-Maria works with individuals presenting a wide variety of issues including adult addiction, family and relationship problems, work-related issues, sexuality concerns, OCD, PTSD, BPD, anxiety and depression in adults and adolescents, school/college-related issues, and bereavement and loss.

    Eva-Maria also works with young children through the medium of play therapy, art and creative therapies.  It has been Eva-Maria’s experience that these therapies are hugely effective for the treatment of young children presenting with ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and other childhood disorders.

    Eva-Maria actively engages in her clients’ experiences and makes use of many perspectives on human functioning, all from the point of view that the client-therapist relationship is crucial. Eva-Maria is a person-centred and integrative psychotherapist, striving to provide a confidential, non-judgmental, warm and safe space in Centric Mental Health to assist the client to recognise and overcome the issues that led them to therapy.
