  • Creative Arts Therapist
    Ali Robertson

    Ali has over 11 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults as a therapist, Clinical Coordinator and therapeutic Head of Department in conjunction with key stakeholders from health, education and residential care settings. She has additional training in suicide prevention, child safeguarding, self-harm, sexual health, restorative justice and complex trauma including attachment trauma and abuse. Her approach to each client is individual creative and empathic. The majority of her work is with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety & panic disorders, low mood and self-esteem difficulties.

    Ali says: “I work in conjunction with parents to help the young person build on their own coping capacity & provide a non-judgemental safe place for them to share their difficulties, working creatively when the client can’t find the ‘right words.’’

  • Systemic Psychotherapist
    Christina M. Penney

    Christina’s clinical experience includes working with families, couples, adolescents, and individuals. For the last three years, she has worked collaboratively with family therapist teams, and co-therapists as well as working independently in CAMHS Celbridge and Ballyfermot.

    Christina’s clinical experience also includes two years working independently in Bray at Living Life Counselling with various adolescent and couple issues.

    Christina says: ‘Working with a systemic lens I have seen significant progress made when the family system and context are considered in approaching difficulties clients are challenged with. Though my approach is unique to each client, I primarily focus on the client’s family and relationships which contribute to their progress and personal goals.’

  • Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist
    Tamara Kuznecova

    Over the past 10 years, Tamara has gained her experience through working with families impacted by addiction, young adults struggling with anxiety and stress as well as a wide variety of individuals experiencing and dealing with depression, grief and loss, domestic abuse and violence, trauma, anger management, and relationship issues.

    As an integrative psychotherapist, she sees the individual as a whole. She brings together the physiological, emotional, cognitive and behavioural aspects of the client’s life, allowing them to understand the true origin of their challenges. Tamara believes that her warm, empathic and non-judgemental stance within the therapeutic relationship, creates an environment that encourages the healing process and allows her clients to face the future more openly and confidently.

    Tamara works with clients in English and Russian Languages. She is available for in-person and online appointments at Centric Mental Health.
